Nothing in these Terms & Conditions shall affect the buyer’s statutory rights.
To place an order on our website you must be over 18 years of age. If you are buying a hamper as a gift – the recipient must also be over 18 years old and proof of age may be required.
Goods will not be despatched until paid for.
Payment can be made via PayPal or by sending us a cheque made payable to “Galloway Hampers”. Goods will be despatched once the payment has cleared.
We always try to supply exactly what is shown in our hampers and gifts. On the very rare occasion we become temporarily out of stock of an item we reserve the right to substitute items of a similar value across our lines. If you find them unacceptable upon receipt, you can return them for a refund.
We cannot accept returned goods that have been used, opened, resealed or damaged.
In the unlikely event one item arrives damaged, you will be sent a replacement item or issued a refund, as long as we have been notified within 7 days of receipt of item.
Refunds will only be sent upon return of the damaged goods, of which return postage costs will be at your own expense. Refunds will be issued within 28 days of this happening.
No one under the age of 18 is permitted to purchase any items containing alcohol from Galloway Hampers.
Please note that some of our products contain nuts or have been produced in an environment where nuts are present.
All our food and beverage items are quality and best before date checked, we will not accept liability for any allergic reactions or medical problems you may have to/with any of our products sold.
Last orders placed on the web site that we can guarantee for delivery before Christmas are the 20th December.
All cancellations must be informed to us either by email or telephone no later than 24 hours after order is placed.
We reserve the right to periodically update prices on the website, which cannot be guaranteed for any period of time.
We will not be liable for any delay in delivery if the delay is a result of events outside of our reasonable control, including but not limited to, acts of God, strikes, lock outs, accidents, war, fire, failure of any communications, telecommunications or computer system, break down of plant or machinery or shortage or unavailability of raw materials from a natural source, and we shall be entitled to a reasonable extention of our obligation.
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of Scotland and the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
